2020 has begun and with it the active phase of the next generation of consoles.
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are already competing for player attention without showing up in detail.
Microsoft has already revealed at least the hardware design and some interior details. More than Sony, as PS5 fans say.
Therefore, in an interview with Business Insider Japan (via Gematsu), PlayStation chief Jim Ryan had to wonder what unique features PS5 will offer.
He highlighted well-known functions, such as 3D audio and haptic feedback for the PS5 controller, but concluded with an exciting statement.
The PS5 has more to offer.
“But you know that there are other unique PlayStation 5 elements that distinguish them from previous consoles. These ‘biggest differences’ have not yet been announced.”
Of course, Ryan said nothing about when this should be the case, or about a launch phase for PlayStation 5.
However, if you believe in the current rumors and the expected schedule for the PS5, the announcement must be made with a release date at the PlayStation meeting.
This event will take place on February 12, 2020 and is expected to take place again at the PlayStation Theater in New York.
The meeting should also be used to focus even more on the latest exclusive titles for PlayStation 4, Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us 2.
